In a statement on national unity, PNC called for a politics rooted in service and respect, and set out its vision for the road ahead.
The party urged all sides to keep public debate focused on the issues that affect families' daily lives.
"Disagreement is healthy. Contempt is not," the statement read. "We will always choose the work over the noise."
